A man believed to be 30 years old and identified as Christopher Yaw has allegedly taken his own life at Dabiasem, a suburb of Koforidua Asokore, in the Eastern Region. The unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
The motionless body of the deceased was found hanging in his personal apartment.
Neighbors caught a glimpse of a suicide note suspected to be his last words.
He wished in the note that his assets be sold and the proceeds used to take care of his mother.
“Oh, God, forgive me. If found, please sell my house property. Please help my mother, Mother Yaa Badie. RIP to my soul!”
The Effiduase Police Command has deposited the body at St. Joseph Hospital pending investigations.
Neighbors and other residents in the vicinity are taken aback by the unfortunate incident.
