A political party is an organization that coordinates to compete in a particular country’s elections. It is common for the members of a party to hold similar ideas about politics, and parties may promote specific ideological or policy goals. The Elephant’s Rope is a motivational story about a humble elephant. As a man was passing by the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at any time, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not. He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” the trainer said, “When they were very young and much smaller we use the same size of rope to tie them, and at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free”. The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were. Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before? Failure is part of learning; We should never give up. This story is to encourage all of us to stand firm. Despite the tribal bigot of the NDC and their former propaganda secretary now their General Secretary whom I quote, “You are not Sensible Voltarian if you don’t vote NDC”. Every Volta person must carry the NDC as a religion. On this note, no wonder the only political party in the world with a position of a propaganda secretary can’t educate Ghanaians but are full of empty propaganda without any feeling of humor. We the people of volta are more sensible and more intelligent to understand the fact that, politics is about choice and peace but not war. We the people of volta will like to sound this wisdom to Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and his NDC revolutionaries that, those who believed and have faith in the NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY(NPP) and the whole volta NPP, were trained with no chains, no cages, no weapons. We are not the children of the revolution. We just believed in our tradition. We just believed that our ideas about politics and specific ideological policies and goals are the rope, tho, we are very huge creatures. NPP volta would continue to be strong together to win more souls for the party come the 2024 general election. The elephant is our winning symbol. We are the elephant itself. Nothing can shake us but we are just humble. We have won to save our mother Ghana from the hands of the oppressor’s NDC revolutionaries. We shall continue to preach the good news with all dedication to the good people of volta. We shall continue to serve the good people of Ghana with all diligence. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has already failed in his mission to volta with his empty tribal bigot which they have inherited from their forebears. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey must tell the volta for how long they have neglected their so-called world bank. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey must tell the achievements of NDC in the volta region for over 30 plus years they rule this country. We are the symbol of victory forever.
