The National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi has announced that is Moment of Truth which was aired on UTV twice but got suspended by the station over what they described as legal threats will now be live on TV Africa.
In the announcement, Sammy Gyamfi said:
“For the records, the attached letter from lawyers of Ibrahim Mahama, is what is being used as the basis for the decision to suspend the “Nokware Mmre” show.
Note that at no point, has the host of the “Nokware Mmre” show or the management of UTV been served with any letter or defamatory suit from anyone, relative to the airing of the “Nokware Mmre” show.
How the sins of the NPP, (who decided to use a Host who has been found by a court of Competent Jurisdiction to have defamed Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, to continue to defame him) can be visited on the NDC remains a wonder.
Nonetheless, we are grateful to the management of UTV for the opportunity. “Nokware Mmre” shall continue to thrive! Stay tuned for more details.
Sammy Gyamfi Esq.”
