The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, has announced plans to host a space program on X (formerly Twitter) once every two weeks.
This announcement came hours after he was appointed as one of the spokespersons for the communications sector, where he will be speaking and explaining policies and plans outlined in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s 2024 manifesto.
According to the outspoken MP, the aim of the program is to engage young Ghanaians in discussions about the policies and plans presented in the manifesto.
The live X Space program will be held every other Tuesdays at 7pm and will run until the eve of December 7.
“…every other Tuesday until December 7th, we would hold a 90 minutes space on X (formerly Twitter) starting at 7pm to engage the young people of our Country on the visionary policies and the opportunities that the next John Mahama administration would bring onboard,” the MP wrote in a post on X.
Mr. George, who is also a member of the communications committee of Parliament, added that “We would also be sharing short videos that explain in bite sized nuggets the details of our policy initiatives.”
