A group of two armed men attacked and robbed cattle buyers in Bole who were moving towards the Bole General kraal to trade in cattle in the hours of around 2:15 pm on Tuesday.

The robbers, who wore face masks and wielded with a gun intercepted the motorbike on which they were travelling to the area and ordered them to lie face down.

The robbers made away with a bounty sum of GH 37,000.00 cedis, two mobile phones and the motorbike the traders were using.

The robbers bolted away immediately after seizing the belongings of the cattle buyers.
The cattle traders who gave their names as Hamidu Bawku and Mohammed are from Kumasi who comes to the Bole General kraal to trade on Tuesday’s.

A formal complaint has been lodged at the Bole Police station who are yet to commence investigation into the matter.
The attack has compelled the traumatized traders to return home empty- handed.

The attacks of armed robbers on the Bole- Kumasi stretch is becoming rampant as the police continues to beef up security on the highway.
