The Afadzato South National Democratic Congress (NDC) appreciates the efforts made so far by the District Chief Executive (DCE) and Member of Parliament (MP) and all other dedicated individuals and organizations of Afadzato South Constituency in the fight against the novel corona virus pandemic.
Notwithstanding the above commendation, it is sad to read from a write up circulating on social media that the DCE, Hon. James Etornam Flolu has commissioned Logba market water facility.
We wish to inform the general public that this information is not just misleading but an attempt by the current Hon. DCE to score cheap political point especially knowing how he and the Nana Akuffo Addo government has abysmally failed the good people of Afadzato South including the Logba people.
We therefore want to put on record that the said toilet facility which the current Hon. DCE is purporting to have commissioned and the water facility attached to it was built during the early days of Prof. Mills administration.
It is also factually evidential that the said market facility was rehabilitated by our last two former *DCEs Hon. Angela Alorwu Tay* and *Hon. Wisdom Seneadza*.
More importantly, people of the Constituency would have expected Hon. DCE James Flolu to acknowledge or give some credit to his last two predecessors in this regard.
We wish to refresh the memory of the constituents that it was Hon.Angela Alorwu-Tay (MP) who provided the market with water facility to see a facelift of the market.
As a matter of fact, there is no sense in recommissioning an already commissioned project therefore the Hon. DCE’s attempt to score an embarrassing political point should be disregarded as if it has never happened.
We are therefore calling on the Hon.DCE to serve the good people of Afadzato South with all necessary human integrity, honesty and sincerity.
