Mr. William Nyarko is the Executive Director of the Africa Center for International Law and Accountability, a research and education, non-profit and non-partisan think tank incorporated under the laws of the United States of America and Ghana.
Mr. Nyarko’s fortes are public international law, global governance, public policy, rule of law, and democratic governance.
He holds a Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law (LL.M) from the George Washington University Law School, US; a Master of Public Policy from George Mason University, US; and an LL.B from Nottingham Law School, UK.
He writes and speaks regularly on democratic governance, public international law, international criminal justice issues and Africa’s relationship with the International Criminal Court.
Mr. Nyarko also has a longstanding interest in investigative journalism, a job he considers his first love, having practiced as an investigative journalist in Ghana and won the best investigative journalist of the year award in Ghana twice: 2001 and 1997.
