Kwasi Kyei Danso said the newly commissioned Nana Prempeh I International Airport has brought excitement to the good people of Ashanti land. He added that it would create a lot of employment opportunities for the teaming youth and also boost tourism in the region

“Now businessmen don’t need to go to Accra before boarding flight outside the country for their businesses or trips for important matters relating to the business world,” he noted.

Reacting to whether the NPP performed poorly in the Ashanti Region, Mr Kyei Danso disclosed that, it was a blatant lie from the NDC. He said the Akufo-Addo-led government did not starve the Ashanti Region of development as proclaimed by the NDC.

He claimed no government in the Fourth Republic has performed more than the Nana Addo/Bawumia government.

According to him, records show 36 ongoing hospital projects in the Ashanti region including 16 Agenda 111 projects.

He claimed the NDC couldn’t complete even a single hospital in the Ashanti Region thus, it’s incorrect to discredit the NPP for the developments the party has championed in the region.

Kwasi Kyei Danso stressed that the NDC has no viable road projects in the Ashanti region. He challenged the NDC to come and refute those claims if they had evidence.

Kwasi Kyei Danso was speaking on “Oman Mpuntuo” hosted by Osikani Frimpong Manso on Western Diamond TV.
