As Muslims in Ghana and around the world begin their fasting and prayers for Ramadan, Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu, the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on them to pray for President John Dramani Mahama.

He believes these prayers will strengthen Mahama’s leadership and help shape a better future for the country.

Prof. Asiedu expressed hope that the prayers would bless Mahama and the NDC, leading to a prosperous Ghana.

His remarks were made during a donation event where the Central Regional NDC provided food items such as 500 bags of sugar, 100 cartons of milk, and bottled water to Muslim groups like Allahsuna, Tejaniyah, and Ahmadiyya, as well as Zongo Caucus coordinators to support fasting communities.

Ramadan, a time for fasting, prayer, and reflection, begins with the sighting of the new moon and holds deep significance for millions of Muslims worldwide.
