A member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication team, Elikem Kotoko is questioning the motive behind President Akufo-Addo’s decision to travel to Angola in the wake of allegations that one of the companies involved in the PDS scandal is said to be from that country.
According to Mr. Kotoko in a Facebook post sighted by Awake News, the said company, Aenergia which is a member of the PDS Consortium has its registered address traced to Ghana at “23 Switchback, Cantonments, Accra”.
He feature alleged that “That building or address [that purports to be that of Aenergia] leads to the office of Yoofi Grant’s private firm GRANT DUPUIS INVESTMENT LTD. Yoofi Grant is an appointee of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as CEO of GIPC.”
“Interestingly, there is also another interesting person in that premise by name ANGELA OFORI-ATTA, wife of the Finance Minister, KEN OFORI-ATTA (A cousin to the president)” – he said in the post.
Mr. Kotoko is curious to know: “Now the question is WHAT is taking our president to Angola, considering the US government’s (The White House @WhiteHouse keen interest in this PDS SCAM.”
