The Member of Parliament for Bongo Constituency in the Upper East Region, Edward Abambire Bawa has stated that Paul Adom-Otchere of Metro TV is simply a joke.
In a social media post, the MP did not take lightly the assertions made by Paul Adom, he, therefore, came to the defence of Ghanaians who were vehemently attacked and criticized by Paul Adom-Otchere stating that “Paul Adom-Otchere is simply a joke. This is what sycophancy does to you”.
The host of Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV last night (Thursday 18th; February 2021) took Ghanaians to the cleaners for criticizing the appalling performance of the nominee minister for Fisheries and aquaculture.
Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson MP for Awutu Senya East Constituency, nominee for the Fisheries and aquaculture ministry appeared before the vetting committee yesterday, but could not impress the majority of Ghanaians with in-depth knowledge of the Fisheries and aquaculture sector.
She defined fish farming as “the process of rearing of fish in the reservoirs and the fish ponds etc”. Aside from her proficiency level, her Grammar and eloquence were problematic as she admitted at the vetting committee by saying “Mr. Chairman English is not our mother town”.
Against this background, Ghanaians reacted angrily and started Campaigning for her disqualification on social media.
However, Paul Adom-Otchere on Good evening Ghana chastised Ghanaians for laughing and passing comments about Hawa Koomson’s vetting.

Hawa koomson thus not deserved to be called Honorably. She is just a well package Akua Donkor .
