Parents who are stranded at the placement centre in Accra have appealed to the Ministry of Education to extend the deadline for the senior high school placement for the second time.

According to the parents, the extension will give all Junior High School graduates who have difficulties with their placement in the Senior High Schools the opportunity to be placed.

They further appealed to the Ministry to consider their plea to help parents and guardians have free mind in registering their children without any rush.

The Ghana Education Service after several problems with the registration process extended the date from March 10 to March 18, 2021.

The extension to March 18 was to ensure that all prospective SHS students have the opportunity to register appropriately at the various schools of placement.
