The delegation, which includes Paa Kwesi Ndoum, Samuel Brew-Butler, Kweku Eyiah and Alex Asante would represent Ghana at this crucial [ads1]meeting, which would determine the fate of Ghana football, which has in recent times been engulfed with various corrupt practices.

After a very successful meeting last Friday between FIFA and the Government of Ghana, both parties agreed to continue the dialogue process as they seek measures in following the right channels for reforms.

A press statement signed by the Director of Member Associations Africa and Caribbean, Mr. Veron Mosengo-Omba revealed how poised FIFA is, in resolving the pertinent issues confronting Ghana’s football as they remain hopeful of a fruitful outcome.

“Our meeting in Zurich would be a continuation of our discussion in Accra. This is an important step in FIFA’s effort to put in place interim measures to allow the continuation of football in Ghana. In this respect, this meeting would serve an opportunity to consult you and other stakeholders on this process.”

“I am confident that the meeting would be positive and led to progressive development from the current situation,” excerpts of the press statement reads.

FIFA further stressed that Mr. Asante would engage in other activities which would help facilitate the participation of Ghana U-20 women’s national team at this year’s World Cup slated for France in August.
