Otto Addo names 23-man squad for Chad and Madagascar games

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has finally named his long-awaited squad for the crucial rounds 5 and 6 matches against Chad and Madagascar for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The squad includes three locally based players, with Nations FC’s centre-back Razak Simpson maintaining his spot. Accra Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper Benjamin Asare gets a first-ever call-up to the Black Stars. Medeama’s versatile defender cum midfielder Kamaradini Mamudu completes the Ghana Premier League trio.

English Premier League contingency of Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemaana, Jordan Ayew

Andre Ayew was rumoured to be in contention for a return but could not win a spot in the squad. Brighton & Hove’s defender Tariq Lamptey also was not included.
