Teachers and pupils of Otole Junction in the Nkwanta South District of the Volta Region under go their studies under mango trees making teaching and learning difficult as we are in the raining season.
The headmaster of the school, Mr. Mark Aduna, disclosed to the Reporter, Obrempong Ba K Owusu that teaching and learning is becoming difficult nowadays since is raining season.
“We always closed down classes anytime it rains or about raining, [ads1]making teaching and learning difficult in the school” Mr. Aduna said.
There is an ongoing construction of six units classroom block at Otole Junction and he therefore called on the contractor to speed up work to enable them have access to classrooms to enhance their studies since they will soon be writing end of year examination.
Meanwhile, speaking to the Director of Education in Nkwanta South District, Mr Stephen Tsourfe, disclosed that there is construction of six units classroom block complex with dinning and computer laboratory in the the area but visiting the site last week saw cracks and some window problems which need to be corrected before handing over the school to the district assembly.
He also called on the contractor to speed up work to enhance teaching and learning of the school.
