Oti: Chief of Dambai donates to Dambai College of Education

The chief of Dambai, Nana Beinor II on 15th October donated items worth 2,000.00 to the Dambai College of Education in the Krachi east municipality of the Oti region.

The items which consist of bags of cement and tubers of yams were received by the principal, staffs and the SRC executives of the college.

In his address, Nana said he was pleased with the support the school is giving to the Dambai community and it’s surrounding towns. Moreover, the school is in his jurisdiction and it is necessary for him to make sure that he visits them to know their worries and wants to see the ones that are achievable. ” I have done these donations to the past principals during their turn in office and I think this is just that,” said the Chief.

In his closing remarks, he stated that the woman is always vulnerable and needs to be supported to achieve the success the school needs and also asked the school management to be united.

In attendance, some items were donated by the Hon. Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Michael Yaw Gyato by Mr. Frank Awuah to the school which includes, 30 electric poles and 30 LED street lights to be used to supply light to all dark and security threat areas of the school on his behalf.

In conclusion, the principal of the college, Mrs. Benedicta Atiku on receiving the items on behalf of staffs and students was really impressed with the benevolent action of the chief and also express her gratitude to the Nana and his entourage.

“I can say on Authority that ever since I assume office as the principal of the college, Nana never seizes to advice me and also encourage me on issues. She also states how the Hon. MP is supporting the school in diverse ways through water, sanitation, security, facility and many more.”
