Some members of the opposition NDC close to the National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo have dismissed reports that their chairman has been arrested.
According to some party executives who spoke to Awake News said the National Chairman is currently on NDC Heroes and Heroins Tour in some parts of the country with some national party executives and therefore the news of his arrest is false.
Reports coming inn this afternoon suggested that the Police has secured arrest warrant following his refusal to honor the invitation of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service.
His invitation, the Police say is in connection to the recent kidnapping cases and wire out breaks in the country where some suspects have name him as being behind the incidents
