Real Madrid has indicated it has boycotted this year’s Ballon d’Or as Vinicius Junior will also not travel to Paris because he will not win the 2024 Ballon d’Or this year.
The Real Madrid Forward was expected to win this year’s Ballon d’Or, however, no one from Real Madrid will attend the ceremony as the club are disappointed in the outcome of this year’s results. No Florentino Pérez, no Carlo Ancelotti, no Jude Bellingham in Paris today as decided by the club.
Sources close to the club has revealed the official reasons Real Madrid has boycotted the awards ceremony tonight stating that Real Madrid believes it is UEFA who decided that Vinicius Junior should not win the Ballon d’Or, for non-football reason.
The Brazilian won the Spanish title and Champions League with Real Madrid last season and has continued with that impeccable form into the 2024-25 season.
