The former Managing Director of Ghana Post, Bice Osei Kuffour, widely known as Obour, recently reflected on his leadership tenure and the significant strides made during his time at the helm of the state-owned postal service.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Obour shared his focus on enhancing employee welfare, citing the introduction of a transport allowance, which was met with appreciation from workers.
Although he acknowledged that salaries were not perfect, he emphasized the positive reception of these efforts by the staff.
Obour also highlighted the improvements in Ghana Post’s competitiveness, particularly through advancements in its transportation network.
These enhancements, he believes, played a pivotal role in boosting service delivery, making the company more competitive in the sector.
Furthermore, he pointed out the various modernization initiatives he introduced to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the company.
Reflecting on the progress made during his tenure, Obour expressed pride in the massive growth of Ghana Post and his confidence that if the progress continues, the institution will reach even greater heights in the future.
