In an interview with 3FM’s Helen Appiah-Ampofo, Mr. Gyamfi emphasized his commitment to eradicating “special postings,” a euphemism for postings influenced by underhanded payments.

He asserted, “National Service re-posting is a sham. We will not accommodate extra postings to companies beyond their officially communicated quotas. Robust security measures are in place to detect any unauthorized alterations to the system.”

Mr. Gyamfi urged parents and prospective service personnel to accept their designated postings, stressing that National Service should be a rewarding experience, not a punitive measure.

He also revealed that a comprehensive investigation is underway to uncover those involved in the NSS ghost name scandals.

“The Attorney-General has taken up the matter, and we await the outcome of the investigation. I assure you that I will take decisive action against those found culpable,” he vowed.

Mr. Gyamfi assured that the NSA is working diligently to prevent illicit payments and ensure transparency in the posting process. Gyamfi’s commitment to rectifying the situation and promoting accountability is evident in his words and actions.
