The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to launch its 2024 manifesto in mid August ahead of the general election in December. The party has decided to hold this year’s event in Takoradi, Western Region.
In a press statement signed by the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party disclosed that it has set up an 11-member committee to oversee the planning and execution of the event. Among these members are Oboshie Sai-Cofie, and Ms. Abena Asante, who would work as the committee’s chairperson and secretary respectively.
Meanwhile, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is also expected to launch its manifesto at the end of the month in Cape Coast. Prior to that, the party’s youth wing would launch its ‘Youth Manifesto‘ on August 12 in Accra.
