Former Ghanaian Ambassador to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, has delivered a thunderous warning to members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), telling them in no uncertain terms to shut up and allow President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to fix the catastrophic damage they left behind.

In a searing Facebook post that is making waves across the political space, the former National Vice Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress, (NDC) and current National Chairman of the party’s Zongo Caucus Working Committee described the NPP’s recent media appearances as an insult to the intelligence and memory of the Ghanaian people.

“It breaks my heart and shoots my blood pressure through the roof to see NPP loyalists shamelessly crawling back onto radio and TV platforms, suddenly finding their voices to speak on governance—as if we have all forgotten the sheer cruelty and disdain with which they treated Ghanaians in their last wasted 8 years in office,” he wrote.

Alhaji Sinare, who once represented Ayawaso Central in Parliament, did not pull any punches. He accused the NPP of plunging Ghana into economic disaster, destroying key institutions, and reducing the lives of ordinary citizens to mere numbers during their time in power.

“This country, sadly, has been turned into a playground for political criminals within the NPP—an enterprise where the only qualification for survival is the ability to lie with confidence and act with impunity.”

With raw emotion, he slammed the NPP for having the “unrepentant boldness” to criticize President Mahama’s ongoing efforts to repair the broken nation they left behind.

“No honest, responsible human being with even a fraction of conscience could ever justify the economic destruction, institutional collapse, and widespread misery that the NPP government inflicted on this nation,” Sinare declared.

“And now, as President Mahama works tirelessly to pull this broken nation out of the ruins they left behind, they have the audacity to pretend to be experts???”

The Rawlings-lookalike NDC stalwart made it clear: the NPP should stay off the airwaves and stop pretending to have answers after eight years of chaos, mismanagement, and failure.

“It is infuriating!! It is insulting!! And it is a slap in the face of every Ghanaian who endured the darkest days under their watch!!”

The message from Sinare according to come communicators of his ruling government is loud, unapologetic, and blisteringly clear adding that, the NPP must sit in silence and watch the NDC clean up the mess they left behind.

It breaks my heart and shoots my blood pressure through the roof to see NPP loyalists shamelessly crawling back onto radio and TV platforms, suddenly finding their voices to speak on governance—as if we have all forgotten the sheer cruelty and disdain with which they treated Ghanaians in their last wasted 8 years in office. Sometimes, I genuinely struggle to hold back tears when I remember how ordinary citizens were reduced to nothing more than statistics in their reckless experiment with power.

This country, sadly, has been turned into a playground for political criminals within the NPP—an enterprise where the only qualification for survival is the ability to lie with confidence and act with impunity. These individuals are not taught to lead with integrity, they are groomed to manipulate, deceive, and deflect responsibility, even in the face of national suffering.

No honest, responsible human being with even a fraction of conscience could ever justify the economic destruction, institutional collapse, and widespread misery that the NPP government inflicted on this nation. They plunged our economy into chaos, made life unbearable for millions, and dragged every sector—from healthcare to education—into the gutters.

And now, as President Mahama works tirelessly to pull this broken nation out of the ruins they left behind, they have the audacity—the unrepentant boldness—to sit comfortably behind microphones and screens, pretending to be experts, and criticizing the very efforts meant to fix their mess???

It is infuriating!!. It is insulting!!. And it is a slap in the face of every Ghanaian who endured the darkest days under their watch!!.
