TEIN Communication Officer Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development- Kumasi, Suuk Emmanuel has exposed NPP’s foul attempt to use dubious means to win the 2024 elections.
According to him, the NPP is on a mission to rig the elections in December. He claimed that the party has put mechanisms in place to use unethical tactics to Influence the 2024 election in NDC strongholds.
“The NPP is fond of engaging in such activities as the involvement of a group known as the ‘YOMO MAFIA‘ and the strategic use of ink to intentionally cause more rejected ballots in NDC strong areas with the intention of disadvantaging the NDC in the election or potentially forcing a run-off in 2024 election”
He indicated that the NPP is fully aware that the party will go to opposition on the grounds of managing the economy poorly and rendering the youth jobless hence it is bent on manipulating the elections in their favour.
“It is also alleged that the NPP plans to utilize financial resources to secure victory in the election,” Suuk Emmanuel claimed.
Suuk Emmanuel said such underhand tactics pose a significant threat to the integrity of the electoral process and the principles of democracy.
“The right of every Ghanaian to participate in free, fair, and transparent elections must be protected, and any attempts to subvert this democratic right must be condemned,” he stressed
He further stated that the NDC will use any means possible to ensure that it triumphs in the elections, affirming that the party will not countenance and kowtow to the rigging agenda of the EC.
“The NDC strongly denounces any efforts by the NPP or any other party to manipulate election results through unethical means. It is imperative that the upcoming election is conducted in a manner that is free from fraud, interference, or manipulation, and that the will of the people is accurately reflected in the results.”
He urged all Ghanaians especially the civil society organizations, Peace Council and other stakeholders to call the EC chair Madam Jane Mensa to order. That he said is because her actions ahead of the 2024 elections can ruin the peace and tranquillity in the country.
“We call upon the relevant authorities, including the Electoral Commission and law enforcement agencies, to Provide swift measures and decisive action to prevent any unlawful activities that may compromise the integrity of the electoral process in the day of the election. The NDC remains committed to upholding the democratic principles of transparency, fairness, and accountability.”

“Together, we can ensure that the 2024 election is conducted in a manner that upholds the democratic values and principles of our nation,” he stated.
