Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah, the Member of Parliament for Techiman South, has expressed concerns over actions he believes compromise the security of President John Dramani Mahama.

Hon. Korsah is considering petitioning Parliament due to incidents such as the President using his brother Ibrahim Mahama’s private jet for official travels when the state aircraft was available, raising questions about the safety and authorization of the private plane.

Korsah also cited an incident where Ibrahim Mahama drove the President during a visit to the Volta region, questioning the security implications of such actions, especially regarding the safety protocols for driving the President.

He emphasized the need for immediate attention to these security breaches, stating that if unchecked, they could lead to a national disaster.

Korsah’s main concern is the safety of the President, even over the costs associated with these decisions. He urged Parliament to address this worrying development to prevent any potential risks to the country’s leadership.
