The plot according to the information is to help split the front of the NDC in the constituency paving way for the NPP toward snatching the seat from the NDC in 2020.

According to sources within the camp of the Kojo Nyame Datiakwa, the NPP allegedly promises him more funding to go independent in the case that he loses the primaries to the incumbent Felicia Adjei.

However, Mr. Kojo Nyame Datiakwa in an interview with Awake News has rubbished the allegation describing it as “cheap” whiles asking the Awake News’ Editor, Efo Korsi Senyo, if the persons that gave him the information has a credibility.

“Why will you be asking me that NPP allegedly sponsoring my campaign? Why will you fall for such cheap allegation. Do you know how much it cost me to take this campaign this far? why will you as a young journalist want to tarnish my reputation?

“I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana. So I am a seasoned journalist. You will not just pick an allegation from anywhere and ask me to respond to it”.

“If you have been told that I committed murder, will you call me and ask me to respond to that allegation?” – He asked

“First of all who gave you the information?”, “Have you done any collaboration to this allegation”.

Mr. Datiakwa ended the call by not denying or other wise of the allegation.

More coming soon.
