Hon. Mrs. Joycelyn Tetteh Quashie, the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Dayi Constituency, has officially cut sod for the construction of a new three-unit classroom block at Yordanu Basic School.
The ceremony, which was held on Saturday, April 5, was attended by key stakeholders, marked a significant step toward improving educational infrastructure in the constituency.
The MP was joined by the newly appointed District Chief Executive (DCE) of the constituency, Hon. Ernest Adevor, who lent his support to the initiative.
In her address, Hon. Quashie emphasized the importance of quality education as a cornerstone of progress.
She urged the contractor tasked with the project to adhere to high standards and complete the work within the stipulated timeframe.
“Our children deserve the best, and I am committed to ensuring that this project is delivered with excellence,” she stated.
The construction of the three-unit classroom block is expected to commence soon, with stakeholders eagerly awaiting its completion.
