The Host of With All Due Respect, Kevin Taylor has sent yet another strong signal to the President Nana Akuffo Addo to accept the debate challenge thrown at him countless times by former President John Dramani Mahama or risk losing votes.
He promised to start a “no debate no vote campaign” against Nana Akuffo-Addo if he continues to ignore the invitations from the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
The investigative journalist was worried at the silence from the presidency, adding that the president is not on top of issues hence his mute demeanour towards the call.
He then vowed to execute his mission for Ghanaians to vote out a sleeping president and talkative who parades himself as being in control of things.
In what may be referred as a shock, Kevin Taylor noted on the show that the interview was done by the three (3) journalists from the Multimedia Group with John Dramani Mahama on the 19th was to test the debating prowess of John Mahama for President Akuffo-Addo to decide whether to accept the challenge or not. He then proceeded to caution the president to desist from that agenda or he loses the election shamefully.
It could be recalled that President Nana Akuffo-Addo admonished his party members to campaign base on a track record in July when he was self-isolating due to covid-19. This sparked a debate challenge thrown at him from John Dramani Mahama so they could settle it all out for Ghanaians to understand who performed better, but president Nana Akuffo Addo kept mute over the numerous calls from John Mahama.
Former President John Dramani Mahama went further and gave president Nana Akuffo Addo an empty cheque as to he should choose his venue, day, hour and moderators then call him to appear for the debate, but this has still not yielded any results.
So it is against this background that Kenvin Taylor is signalling president Nana Akuffo Addo of his plans to begin the “No debate no vote” campaign.
