Gospel singer and songwriter Michael Kesse Frimpong, known widely as Kesse has advised his colleague gospel artistes never to perform their music in the night club.
According to him, though the people in the night club deserve salvation just like he had, the night club is not the place for him to help them get that salvation.
The one-time circular musician revealed that he denounced the circular music to do a gospel song because of his encounter with Jesus Christ.
In an interview on the ‘Uncut show’ he stated that he has to give up all his circular songs and the money he had invested in them to embrace the world of God.
He emphasized that he didn’t abandoned secular music because he was fading away as people are saying but rather his encounter with God to pull souls through gospel music.
“I have decided to pull crowed for God not true my old love song but through new me, the rebirth of kesse” – He added
Kesse rose to fame after winning the fourth season of TV3’s Mentor. He participated in Season 2 of Project Fame West Africa and finished first runner-up to Chidinma.
