A former NDC Parliamentary aspirant for Gomoa East Constituency, Madam Hajia Ashetu Mamudu has extended her humanitarian gesture to the party in the constituency.
In her commitment to contribute towards the party’s campaign efforts as the country approaches the 2024 general elections, she donated consumables to the Gomoa East Constituency executives.
The items donated by the NDC Central Regional Legal Committee member would be used to support the party in the ongoing voter transfer exercise.
Hajia Ashetu Mamudu presented 100 pieces of meat pie, 15 packs of soft drinks and 9 packs of bottled water to the constituency executives.
Mama Gee and other close confidants of Hajia Ashetu donated on her behalf. According to the team, she wanted to make the presentation herself but had to attend to other equally important issues and could not be available.
Mama Gee, speaking on behalf of the donor, stated that Lawyer Ashetu, is well-prepared to do whatever possible within her means and even beyond to ensure a resounding victory for John Mahama and Dr. Paitoo.
Mr Abdul Sanunu, the Gomoa East Vice Chairman, standing in for the Constituency Chairman Hon. Dr. Kofi Anthony Effisah expressed gratitude to Hajia Aishetu for the commendable job done.
He said this was not the first donation from Ashetu Mamudu as she has been a generous hand to the constituency for a long time. Mr Sanunu said she donated to support similar exercises in 2023.
He concluded by urging others to come on board to support the exercise as it approaches its conclusion, emphasizing the financial challenges faced by the Gomoa East Constituency.
