Barely few weeks the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) ended its third Unity Walk in Cape Coast in the Central Region, the party is not relenting its effort in organizing its grassroots and is again sending the Unity Walk to Tarkwa in the Western Region Saturday, November 25 at 6 am prompt.
[ads1] The Unity Walk is seen as a measure to bring together the rank and file of the party and their supporters in order to heal the wounds the party suffered during the 2016 General Elections and prepare adequately for the next General Election.
The statement was issued and signed by the party’s Director of Communications in the Western Region Mr. Richard Kirk-Mensah. The Special Guest is the former president, John Mahama. Among his entourage are the NDC Western Regional Accra Caucus, National Executives, former government appointees from the region, Regional and Constituency Executives from Shama to Bia West are expected to grace the occasion.
Meanwhile, TEIN Chapter of the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT) Tarkwa today addressed a Special Akwaaba Forum on the theme “The Role of Ghanaian Youth in Political Decision Making”. This was held at the school’s main auditorium this evening.
The Minority Caucus on Finance/Economy, Agricultural, Road Transport/Habour and other “special socialist” forum speakers all took turns to address the forum.
