Serial callers of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ketu South “have laid down our tools” and petitioned party executives in the constituency, demanding jobs and tools to help them continue their communication work for the party.
“We, the serial callers of Ketu South Constituency, wish to inform you that we have laid down our tools for defending the party on all radio airwaves.
“We wish to explain that from the time of Honourable Kwasi Zigah to Honourable Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey and to Honourable Muma Abla Dzifa Gomashie’s era for the past eight (8) years, we have not gotten anything much with which we can boast of to enable us to continue our work as serial callers,” part of the petition read.
The petitioned which is dated March 27, 2025, was signed by Nicholas Attitsogbui Chairman and Kwashie Hamenoo, chairman and secretary of the group respectively.
In the petition, the group demanded fifteen of its members be employed in YEA, NADMO, and National Security (five for each). Also, the group demanded that School Feeding Program employs two of its members.
They also called on the party leadership to provide them with five tricycle motor bikes, five Haoque motor bikes, farm inputs as well as another five employment slots at Premix sites in the constituency.
