The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Effutu, Mr. James Kofi Annan, has extended his best wishes to all candidates sitting for this year’s West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), particularly those in his constituency.
He emphasized the importance of the examination, arguing that it is a culmination of the students’ hard work over the past three years.
Mr. Annan further urged the candidates to approach the exams with honesty and integrity, cautioning them against any form of exam malpractice.
The NDC parliamentary hopeful also encouraged the students to enter each examination with a focused mindset, assuring them that their efforts and dedication would be rewarded.
He noted that students can trust the government’s commitment to dismantling barriers to their educational aspirations.
In his address to the student Mr. Annan said “Now is the hour to prove your mettle that your three years in school was not a wasted endeavor. Even at this last hour, keep to your books, revise what you were taught by your teachers, and answer the questions to the best of your abilities, and success shall crown your efforts.”
