An associate professor of political science at the University of Ghana, Ransford Gyampo, has raised concern about what he describes as a competition between the two major political parties in the country to “top the chat of politically evil deeds”.

Prof. Gyampo’s worry comes on the heels of the discovery of a new militia group associated with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) at a time the President has called on the NPP and NDC to disband vigilante groups affiliated to them.

A report by JOY NEWS reveals that a pro-NPP militia group, De-Eye Group being led by Nana Wireko Addo, a former personal bodyguard of President Akufo-Addo undergoes training at the Presidency Annex located at the Christiansborg Castle in Accra.

Commenting on this in a Facebook post, the political analyst expressed fear over the recent activities of both the NPP and NDC that seem to compromise the peace and stability of the country and advised Ghanaians not to sit unconcerned for the worse to happen.

Two political parties racing to top the chat of politically evil deeds.

1. NPP vigilante mayhem at AWW.

2. NDC killing in A/R. during party executive meeting

3. NDC Chairman Ofosu Ampofo et. al tape inciting the destabilization of Ghana

4. NPP De-Eye vigilante training even when the President has publicly called for the disbandment of vigilante groups.

5. The NDC is never happy when the NPP is being criticized for wrong doing. They would do all they can to to copy or repeat the worst of what the NPP has done so they would take the title of the party that is politically evil.

6. The NPP similarly would never sit down unconcerned while the NDC enjoys bad publicity and public bashing for a wrong doing. They would also do something to take over from the NDC and receive the bad press.

7. What is the advantage of getting bad publicity? Does public bashing for wrong doing contribute to electoral fortunes of political parties?

8. May the worst political party win this race and destroy itself beyond resuscitation.

9. May be, Ghana belongs to the NPP and NDC alone. So, let the bootlicking sycophants of these parties arise to offer “shitty defense” for the race to top the politically evil chat.

10. Let Ghanaians not arise against the political bofoonary of the two parties and let there be implosion.

11. We will see who would suffer.

Shame!
