After deep consultations with all stakeholders within the leading opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), the party has put out a 29 member committee to oversee the party’s primaries on 26 January.
The 29 member committee was divided into three groups which are the VETTING, APPEALS and ELECTORAL committees.
VERTING COMMITTEE:

APPEALS COMMITTEE:

ELECTORAL COMMITTEE:
Chairman Kofi Attoh Director of International relations

After swearing them in, a Deputy General Secretary of the NDC Peter Boamah Otukonor presented them with the party’s constitution and urged them to be guided by the constitution at all times.
The NDC has set 26 January, 2019 to organize its primaries. Seven candidates will be vying in all including former President John Mahama.
Mr. Otokunor said the national executives will shun all kinds of biases and ensure all contestants are given a fair playing field.
Meanwhile, the NDC has announced to organize a press conference tomorrow at the International Press Centre to state their position on the recently held referendum.
