The National Democratic Congress (NDC), will on Thursday, March 21, hold one-week memorial service for the late Dr. Kwabena Adjei, at the Legon Botanical Gardens.
The former Member of Parliament, and National Chairperson of the NDC, was reported dead on Tuesday, March 11; just three days after his 76th birthday, at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.
Dr. Kwabena Adjei, popularly known as ‘Wayo Wayo’ went on the low in his political career, after his bid for the chairmanship position for the third time ended in a defeat to Kofi Portuphy, in 2014.
Wayo Wayo was said to have battled a protracted illness prior to his demise.
