Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) employed “intellectual dishonesty” in downplaying the achievements of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), government.

He insisted that the NPP made 388 promises in the 2016 electioneering and has so far delivered 78 percent, contrary to the NDC’s claim that the NPP made 631 promises and delivered only 14 percent.

At a Media Briefing, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah explained that the NPP government has so far delivered 303 out of 388 promises it made before the 2016 general election and is in the process of delivering the rest.

Mr. Oppong Nkrumah assured the public that, it will update them on the total promises fulfilled by the end of the year.

He accused the NDC of concocting additional 235 promises to distort the records of the ruling government with the hope of achieving its parochial partisan political benefit.
