The Ace movie actor and a businessman, John Setor Kofi Dumelo has donated an undisclosed amount of money and 10 buses to convey delegates from many villages in the Hohoe North Constituency to Hohoe for the NDC constituency conference today.

A source close to John Dumelo revealed that yesterday when they were returning from Likpe his [John] hometown, they met a constituency executive who served him a letter appealing for funding towards the NDC congress the following day.

This call by the executive according to the source motivated the Actor and farmer contribute toward the conference which he sees as one of the ways to support his party.

“We were hungry then looking for food but John insisted we drive straight to the party office so he will be pay his widow mites before we eat.

John got to the office and donated an amount of cash catering for two of the item stated in the budget.

In the evening he received a call that most delegates don’t have means of trooping to Hohoe where the conference will take place.

John quickly made an arrangement by providing 10 buses which was then allocated to different communities.”

The actor in the quite has been doing lot of things politically after his party lost in 2016 election and its still unclear which position he want to contest in the party.
