The Constituency communications officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Akatsi North in the Volta region has said the newly elected chairman has what it takes to do the job.
Commenting on the outcome of what he described as memorable and a successful constituency conference, Patrick Ahiabu said Richard Awudza will ensure victory for the NDC in the 2020 general elections.
[ads1]Richard Awudza was elected the new constituency chairman in Saturday’s constituency conference defeating Hon. Prince Aglagoh, who has been the party’s chairman for over 20years.
“The new chairman has what it takes to bring dynamic leadership into the new administration, bring back the angry youths to the party and reunite the party after the conference,” he said.
Meanwhile, many of the old executives have retained their positions. A thing Hon. Ahiabu described as a true reflection of the good works of the old executives.
He maintained that those who lost the portfolios are still members of the party and would be welcomed anytime to help reorganize the party ahead of the 2020 general elections.
Ahiabu also added that the party would soon organise a get-together for all members in order to deliberate on among other matters, a clear direction of activities towards the 2020 general elections.
