The Awutu Senya East Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called at the home of the late former Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, as partners in grief over his sudden death.

A delegation led by constituency Chairman, Mr. Stephen Ofosu Agyare, visited the Ridge residence of the late statesman to [ads1]commiserate with his family.

The delegation included executives and some members of the constituency.

Stephen Ofosu Agyare said the sudden demise of the former Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur came as a shock to Ghanaians and supporters of the NDC.

In a statement, the party sent its “heartfelt condolences, thoughts and prayers are with the family, his friends and especially, his widow, H.E. Mrs. Matilda Amissah-Arthur, former Second Lady of Ghana.

“We urge Mommy Matilda to be strong in these trying times, and pray for God’s comforting arms around her in these inconsolable times.”
