PRESIDENT AKUFO-Addo will pay a two-day working visit to the Central Region, beginning from Saturday, September 15, 2018.
During the visit, the President will inspect and commission some developmental projects, especially those under his flagship initiative – One District, One Factory (1D1F).
One is the inspection of the potato chips and bread factory and 300-acre potato farm under 1D1F at Gomoa West District.
He is also expected to commission 20mw solar farm project at Gomoa Onyaadze in the Gomoa West District.
At about 3:30pm on Saturday, the President will attend a durbar of chiefs and people of Gomoa Akyempim and Ajumako Traditional Areas at Apam in the Gomoa West District.
On Sunday, September 16, which is the final day of the tour, President Akufo-Addo will attend a church service at the Methodist Church at Swedru in the Agona West Municipality.
He will wrap up his visit with another durbar of the chiefs and people of Agonaman at Swedru in the Agona West Municipality at about 2:30pm.
