The President and the Education Minister is doing our senior high students more harm than good. It is time we speak the truth to this government or else they will destroy our secondary education system which was better under John Mahama. I think reasons should be given by the government on why the second year students (form 2) are staying home till 17th March 2019 before school reopens for only the form 2. Am asking that is there going to be a special classes for students while they are at home.
The student are staying home till the said date due to the Double track system which is as a result of the infrastructural deficit of which John Mahama started building the 200 day community schools before making senior high school free.
Nana Addo should focus mainly on completing John Mahama E-BLOCKS to eliminate this traffic light system as they theme as double track system to put secondary education back on the normal track.
Our secondary education system has totally failed under the incompetent leadership of Nana Addo and Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh(Edu. Minister), no wonder the Education minister was rated the incompetent minister in the year 2018.
My advice to the president is that, is not late to have stakeholders meeting on the free senior high school to restructure the free shs policy.
