The Deputy Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), Alexander Twum Barimah, has called on the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, to fully support ongoing investigations into alleged suspicious flights and related national security concerns.

In an interview with Joy News, Twum Barimah emphasized the need for close cooperation between public officials and the country’s security agencies to ensure a thorough and credible probe into the matter.

“I will advise my good friend and brother that he should cooperate with us if he really wants us to get to the root of this matter,” he stated.

Twum Barimah noted that security agencies remain committed to uncovering the truth and holding any culpable individuals accountable. However, this can only happen if individuals like Fordjour, who have raised public concerns, are willing to work hand-in-hand with the relevant bodies.

“To apprehend or arrest any other person who is involved in his so-called suspicious act, he should cooperate with us… to make sure that we get the appropriate or required information and act on it,” he stressed.

His comments follow Rev. Fordjour’s public claims and calls for transparency regarding recent aircraft movements and suspected illegal activities at Ghana’s airports. The back-and-forth has drawn national attention, with many demanding clarity and accountability.
