The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East Constituency (ASEC) Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor has congratulated the people of Assin North Constituency following their decisive vote of confidence in their member of Parliament-elect, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson in the by-election held on June 27 this year.
Hon. Koryoo further congratulated the NDC whose candidate, Hon. Quayson gave a definitive trashing of other candidates in the race.
The NDC parliamentary candidate in a tribute to the game-changing victory by the NDC acknowledged the tremendous effort of the party led by the Presidential Candidate HE John Dramani Mahama and the executive committee members from the National, Regional, Constituency and Branch levels of the party that converged from far and wide, local and foreign, to support the illustrious son of Assin-North.
She gave special acknowledgement to the team from the Awutu Senya East Constituency (ASEC) for their massive presence at key action centers of the campaign within the Assin-North environs.
She said the victory of Hon Gyakye Quayson bears testimony to how collective effort, team-work and solidarity, as well as stoic determination can win battles.
Hon. Koryoo took the opportunity to call for the rallying of all stakeholders in the ASEC NDC to work together to ensure victory in Kasoa, come December, 2024 adding that momentum for Victory 2024 is assured.
