Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has shared a chilling spiritual encounter that marked the beginning of her political career.
According to her, during her first attempt to enter Parliament, some individuals allegedly resorted to spiritual manipulation in an effort to sabotage her journey.
In a video circulating on social media, the former MP recounted how her picture and sand from her footprints were collected and used in a ritual designed to summon her spirit and inflict harm.
“During my first parliamentary election contest in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, some individuals took my picture and collected sand from my footprints to use in a sacred ritual,” she said.
Adwoa Safo revealed that each time the spiritualists attempted to call her spirit, a mysterious figure whom she identified as her father would appear to block their efforts.
“However, whenever they attempted to call out my spirit to cause harm, my father would appear to protect me,” she said with emotion.
The attacks, she explained, became so intense that even the spiritualists involved grew afraid and confused. At one point, when her name was mentioned, the ritualist allegedly insisted it never be spoken again.
“They said when they saw my picture, it was a man. When they mentioned my name, the ritualist warned them not to say that name again,” she added.
Adwoa Safo credited her father’s spiritual protection for saving her life and political career and expressed heartfelt gratitude for what she believes was divine intervention.
“As for my father, I don’t know how to thank him,” she said.
