[dropcap]A[/dropcap] facebook user, Custer Godwin (https://www.facebook.com/custer.godwin) has accused the murdered woman , Evelyn Abbah (Mamator) of inflicting pain on his aunt while she (Mamator) was alive.
Custer Godwin in his facebook comment in reaction to the news said:
Mamator is the very wicked woman I have seen in Akatsi,you die at gun point
When asked if he knows Mamator, this is what he has to say:
I know here very well dear
They way that woman handle my late aunt, may she rest in peace not knowing she will leave everything on this earth n bury with only one cloth and to the extend of dying at gun point, what a curse
The background:
Residents of Akatsi in the Volta Region of Ghana have been thrown into a state of shock and fear following an alleged gruesome murder of a business woman believed to be in her late sixties.
Evelyn Abbah popularly known as Mamator was found dead in her shop located at Akatsi 4 junction in the early hours of Friday, July 14, 2017.
According to reports, the middle aged woman, who was said to have passed the night in her ‘BAA MEYI SHEI ALLAH’ shop, was found dead in a pool of blood with multiple knife wounds on her body.
The Akatsi District Police Commander, Superintendent Bismark Agyapong, in a media briefing said the incidence could not be concluded as a robbery attack as it appeared the deceased might have struggled with her assailants who attempted strangling her before inflicting the machete wounds.
Foul play:
It is not yet clear why the woman was attacked and killed as police are still investigating the matter. It is, however, suspicious she might have been killed by someone she might have offended whiles alive based.
This reporter after reading the comments from Custer Godwin asked:
Custer Godwin, what did she do to your aunt? Do you think she might have done same to someone for which the person could not contain hence taking her life?
As investigations continue to identify the killers of Mamator, it is very important the security agencies take some of these comments into account to aid their investigation.
