Mugabe was invited by the CID over his claims that Manasseh Azure Awuni’s life is in danger as the NPP is planning to kill him within 11 months for exposing the party in his documentary.

He is expected to report at the Police head office at 4 pm, the letter from the CID indicated.

Manasseh is receiving backlashes from a section of the public, especially members of the NPP following the release of his undercover piece on a secret vigilante group associated with the governing NPP.

The ‘MILITIA IN THE HEART OF THE NATION’ aired on Joy News detailed the operations of De-Eye Group from the former seat of the President, Osu Christianborg Castle in Accra.

Expressing his view on the development, Mugabe Maase on his show “Inside Politics” on Radio XYZ last Friday criticized the NPP for using a state facility to train a militia group.

He said the NPP is a party of wicked people and further called on security agencies in the country to protect Manasseh Azure because his life is under threat.

“If the security agencies do not protect him they will finish him, they will get rid of him, I speak without fear or favour, this is a gift God has given to me”.

He added, “The fake ones (Prophets) can come out and say whatever they like but I’m speaking in the spiritual realm. Manasseh Awuni, I am speaking to your parents and I’m not speaking as Mugabe but the Holy Spirit is using me”.

Mugabe stressed, “I’m repeating, if the security agencies do not protect him, the NPP will kill him as they did it to Ahmed Hussein Suale. The truth is one and as for me they can’t touch me and if you try me you will die first.”
