The Ghana Education Service (GES) has appointed Mr. Stephen Kwaku Owusu as the Ag. Deputy Director-General (Management Services).
About Mr. Stephen Kwaku Owusu
Prior to his appointment was the Director for Administration at the Ghana Education Service Headquarters. He was also the Regional Director for Western North.
Mr. Stephen Kwaku Owusu is a staunch believer in the transforming power of the Ghanaian education. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education (Administration in Higher Institutions).
He has risen through the ranks of the service due to his sheer determination to make continuous positive impact in education. He is passionate about modelling education leadership and becomes an education leader of excellence has kept him going all these years.
Other appointments
Mrs. Ivy Asantewa Owusu has also been appointed as the new Eastern Regional Director. Prior to that, she was appointed the Acting Regional Director for the Bono Region in 2020. She has more than three decades of expertise in the field of education.
Mr. Gabriel Antwi has been selected to take over as the new Regional Director of Education for the Bono Region. He is the immediate past Municipal Director of Education, Mampong Municipal.
Also, Benedicta Yevu has been selected as the new Director for Cultural Unit at the GES Headquarters. Prior to her appointment, she was the Municipal Cultural Coordinator and Ag. HR at the Abuakwa South Municipal, Kibi
