Deputy Minister for Transport and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema East, Daniel Titus-Glover has promised to fix broken down streets lights, especially in his constituency with his Districts Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem show Monday, the MP observed that most fatal accidents in the country are as a result of broken down street lights on major road networks of the country.

Recently, there was a documentary saying there was something wrong with TOR traffic lights. I know the MCE is doing well in Tema but we are all willing to help eradicate this issue of spoilt street lights.

[ads1]If some other lights have broken down I’m ready to give part of my common fund to support such cause because we are talking about road accidents in the country. The spate at which accidents occur in the country is very bad”, he said.

He urged the urban roads to ensure that street lights in the country are fixed.
