I saw a video going viral on social media in which the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo was struggling to cut a ribbon for the commissioning of a mosque for the Muslim community.
I have been waiting for the presidency to come out with a defense that it was a ‘video-shop’ and that it was fake. I am commenting on it because now, I know the video is genuine.
I personally counted five, the number of times the President missed his attempt to cut the ribbon. Two things might have caused the President to miss the ribbon five times. It was either the President was drunk or he is sick. None of these reasons is good for either the President of the country. If the President was drunk, that was his personal choice so I will not deal with it much. It just might go a long way to confirm that at this old age, the President has not stopped drinking. I have no problems with that.
I have a problem with the President if he is sick that has affected his eyesight. So if the President can read when he is giving addresses, what is the font size of the letters? From the way the President missed the ribbon, I guess the font size of the letters he reads will be 24 or more. The problem is that contracts and laws are not written with 24 font size. So who has been reading for the President, because the font size of contracts is either 11 or 12? Don’t rule out this question because we have been told before that the President was misled on the Ameri deal. We have also been told that the President didn’t know anything about the recommendations by the Prof. Ntiamoah-Baidoo committee, even though the President appointed the members of the committee and the committee’s final report was submitted to him.
Do you see the kind of President Jean Mensah and Chief Justice Anin Yeboah has imposed on Ghanaians? As a Ghanaian, you should be worried that someone reads, thinks and decides for your president.
To cut long story short, what happened during the commissioning of the mosque is a clear indication that the President is not in charge of the country. Now, I am not surprised why the country has gone back 20 years. Someone, other than Nana Akufo-Addo is the President of Ghana. NPP, never again.
I have not started writing yet.
