His excellent delivery of services to meet client satisfaction have gotten most people clamoring for his recognition.
Some of his clients who spoke in an interview with GhanaNewsOne.Com, touted his deeds describing it as marvelous in the sight of men owing to the level of perfection always exuded.
“Indeed, Dr Obengfo has made me including other ladies extremely beautiful with irresistible looks. I used to have shapeless body with flat buttocks but now I can boast of a superb body shape and figure which makes me feel good. I now attract attention from men wherever I go”, said Dorothy Mensah.
As the saying goes, “Good deeds never go unrewarded”, therefore Dr. Obengfo’s dedication to offering quality services coupled with his loyalty to customer satisfaction can never go unheeded as it has caught the attention of Gehab Events Africa paving way for him to be adjudged the Outstanding Practitioner in Body Contouring for the year 2017 in the recently held Quality Service Awards.
Amazingly, Dr. Dominic Obeng-Andoh’s hospital, the Advanced Bodysculpt Centre was also in the same year declared the Outstanding Centre for Advancing Body Contouring in the West African Clinical Alliance Awards (WACAA).
The award also an initiative of Gehab Events which was on the theme: “Promoting Sustainable Health Care Innovation” recognizes and rewards exemplary performances by both private, public, herbal and traditional centres, health consultants who contribute most towards the delivery of safe and high-quality care coupled with continuous improvement of health services in the country.
But the tales of this wonderful multiple winning surgeon can never be complete without mentioning some of the difficult moments he encountered in the past in his quest to serve mankind. Dr. Obeng-Andoh came under a barrage of media attack in 2013, after an Accra based radio station reported that three persons who had gone to his hospital for ‘liposuction’ service had suffered life-threatening complications.
The negative report warranted the Medical and Dental Council who waded in the controversy accusing Dr. Obeng Andoh for not renewing his license over the years and therefore concluded that he is practicing legally.
Despite the accusation being leveled against him, the council, however, admitted that he is a recognized medical practitioner and surgeon to that effect.
They further accused him of advertising his hospital and erecting billboards at various vantage points contrary to regulations of the profession and wanted him prosecuted.
The decision did not go down well with Dr Obeng-Andoh upon realizing he was defamed. He, therefore, took a bold step to sue both the Medical and Dental Council including some media houses in the country who made damaging report about him.
The issue broke out somewhere in 2013 but still pending in a court of law awaiting the passing of a verdict.
But the multiple award winning cosmetic surgeon in an interview spilled the corn, described the accusations leveled against him as baseless. “They are nothing but a calculated attempt by my detractors to tarnish my good image out of envy”.
“If these claims are anything to go by at all then why I’m I still in business helping people to obtain their desired satisfaction till date”, he fumed.
Dr Obeng-Andoh believes his good deeds have indeed paid off, given relief to many people and are marvelous in the sight of all men, therefore, sees no reason why he should be a target of anyone or group of persons with such a label of being a “quack doctor” who have caused harm to certain lives.
He has, therefore, vowed to always keep doing the unthinkable, saving lives and satisfying every client’s demand and above all constantly place the image of Ghana on the global tourism map.
